Hikvision DS-7108HGHI-M1 8-ch 720p Mini 1U H.265 DVR

Eight Channel CCTV Recording

The Hikvision DS-7108HGHI-M1 supports up to eight analogue CCTV cameras through its BNC video inputs. This allows users to monitor multiple locations, including entrances, reception areas, corridors, parking spaces and business premises, using a single recorder.

Multi Format Camera Compatibility

The DVR supports HDTVI, AHD, HDCVI and CVBS analogue camera formats, providing flexibility when installing or upgrading a surveillance system. It also supports compatible IP cameras, allowing integration of network-based surveillance devices.

H.265 Pro+ Video Compression

Hikvision H.265 Pro+ compression helps reduce storage consumption and network bandwidth requirements. This enables more efficient use of the installed surveillance hard drive, particularly in systems recording continuously across multiple channels.

720p and 1080p Lite Recording

The recorder is designed for 720p CCTV recording and supports 1080p Lite encoding modes. These recording options provide a practical balance between image quality, recording duration and storage requirements.

Motion Detection and Smart Playback

Motion based recording helps users capture relevant activity while reducing unnecessary footage. Depending on the hardware and firmware version, Motion Detection 2.0 may also provide human and vehicle classification to help reduce false alerts.

HDMI and VGA Display Outputs

The recorder includes HDMI and VGA outputs for connecting compatible monitors and televisions. Users can view live camera feeds, review recordings and configure surveillance settings through the local interface.

Hik Connect Remote Monitoring

When connected to a network and configured correctly, the DVR supports remote access through compatible Hikvision applications. Authorized users can monitor live footage and review recordings from supported mobile devices.

SATA Hard Drive Storage

The DVR provides an internal SATA interface for installing a compatible surveillance-grade hard drive. Recording can be configured for continuous, scheduled or motion-triggered operation.

Compact Mini 1U Design

Its compact chassis is suitable for installations where equipment space is limited, including small offices, retail counters, residential security cabinets and monitoring stations.

Motion Detection 2.0 with Human and Vehicle Classification

The DS-7108HGHI-M1 supports Motion Detection 2.0 across all eight analogue channels, using deep-learning technology to distinguish people and vehicles from irrelevant movement. Smart search helps users locate recordings by event or object type. This capability is confirmed in Hikvision’s manufacturer datasheet.
