UGREEN CM520 Smart Bluetooth Finder

The UGREEN CM520 (60387) provides a simple way to keep track of everyday belongings. Attach or place the finder with your keys, backpack, handbag, luggage or other valuable item, then add it to Apple’s Find My app.

Unlike a GPS tracker with its own cellular connection, the CM520 uses Bluetooth and Apple’s Find My network. When the tracker is away from your own device, compatible nearby Apple devices can securely help update its location through the Find My network.

Works with Apple Find My

The CM520 integrates directly with Apple’s Find My app, so you do not need a separate UGREEN tracking application. Setup is straightforward: enable Bluetooth, open Find My → Items → Add Item → Other Supported Item, then connect and name the tracker.

Bluetooth 5.2

The finder uses Bluetooth 5.2 and operates in the 2.4GHz band. The product documentation specifies:

Frequency: 2400–2483.5MHz
Maximum RF output: ≤4dBm EIRP

An earlier CM520 specification/manual lists a direct Bluetooth transfer distance of up to approximately 50 metres in an unobstructed environment. Actual range will vary with walls, interference and other environmental factors.

Find Nearby Items

When the CM520 is within Bluetooth range, you can use the Find My app to make the tracker play a sound, helping you locate an item hidden nearby—for example, keys under furniture or a bag somewhere in the office.

Lost Mode

If you lose the item outside direct Bluetooth range, you can enable Lost Mode through Find My. The Apple Find My network can then help report the item’s approximate location when it comes within range of participating Apple devices.

Left Behind Alerts

The CM520 supports left behind notifications, helping alert you when you become separated from a tracked item. This can be particularly useful for luggage, backpacks, handbags and keys.

Anti Unwanted Tracking Protection

The Find My ecosystem includes protections intended to discourage unwanted tracking. For example, an iPhone or iPad can alert someone if an unknown Find My accessory appears to be moving with them over time.

Replaceable CR2032 Battery

The CM520 uses a standard 3V CR2032 lithium-manganese button cell with a rated capacity of 240mAh. UGREEN specifies an operating time of 12 months or more, although actual battery life depends on usage. The battery is replaceable, so you do not need to replace the entire tracker when the battery runs out.

Important: It Is Not a GPS Tracker

The CM520 should not be advertised as a standalone GPS tracker.

It does not contain its own cellular GPS tracking service. Instead, it uses Bluetooth plus Apple’s Find My network to help locate the attached item. This also means there is no SIM card or monthly cellular subscription required.

Ideal Uses

The UGREEN CM520 is suitable for keeping track of keys, backpacks, laptop bags, handbags, luggage and other personal belongings. Because it works with Apple’s Find My ecosystem, it is particularly suitable for iPhone and iPad users.
