It combines Wi-Fi 6 technology, long range omnidirectional coverage and a durable weather resistant design. Fast AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 Performance

The TL-EAP603-OUTDOOR supports dual band Wi-Fi 6 with four wireless streams. It delivers speeds of up to 574 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and 1201 Mbps on the 5 GHz band. As a result, users can enjoy smooth browsing, video calls, cloud applications and online streaming.

Wi-Fi 6 technologies such as OFDMA, MU-MIMO, beamforming and 1024-QAM also improve network efficiency. Moreover, they allow the access point to serve many connected devices while reducing delays during busy periods.

Long Range Omnidirectional Coverage

Two external dual band omnidirectional antennas help distribute the wireless signal across a wide area. The access point can provide coverage of up to 200 metres on 2.4 GHz and up to 300 metres on 5 GHz under suitable conditions.

Designed for Outdoor Installation

The access point features an IP65 rated weather resistant enclosure. It helps protect the internal components against dust, rain and changing outdoor conditions. In addition, 6kV lightning protection improves reliability during electrical storms and voltage surges.

The unit can operate in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 70°C. Consequently, it is suitable for both hot and cold environments. Wall-mounting and pole mounting kits are also included for flexible installation.

Simple PoE Deployment

The TL-EAP603-OUTDOOR includes one Gigabit Ethernet port with 802.3at PoE+ support. Therefore, one Ethernet cable can carry both network data and electrical power. This design reduces outdoor cabling and makes installation easier.

It can receive power from a compatible PoE+ switch. Alternatively, installers can use the included passive PoE adapter where required. A grounding terminal is also available to support safer outdoor deployment.

Omada Central Management

The access point works with the TP-Link Omada Software Controller, Omada Hardware Controller, Omada Central cloud platform and Omada mobile application. Network administrators can configure access points, monitor connected users and manage wireless settings from one interface.

Furthermore, Omada Mesh can extend wireless coverage without running an Ethernet cable to every access point. Seamless roaming helps supported devices move between access points while maintaining a stable connection. These controller-based features are useful in hotels, schools, offices and other large sites.
