The TP-Link AX1800 Indoor/Outdoor Wi-Fi 6 High Density Access Point – TL-EAP625-OUTDOOR HD provides fast and stable wireless connectivity in large, busy environments. It combines high client capacity, wide outdoor coverage and modern Wi-Fi 6 technology.

Therefore, it is ideal for locations with many users and connected devices. These include stadiums, airports, campuses, events, parks, hotels, restaurants and large business compounds.

Fast AX1800 Wi-Fi 6 Performance

The EAP625-Outdoor HD delivers combined wireless speeds of up to 1,775 Mbps. It provides up to 574 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. Meanwhile, the 5 GHz band delivers up to 1,201 Mbps.

As a result, users can enjoy smooth browsing, streaming, cloud applications and video calls. The access point also supports OFDMA, MU-MIMO, beamforming and 1024-QAM. These features improve speed and network use when many devices connect at the same time.

High Density Device Connectivity

The TP-Link TL-EAP625-OUTDOOR HD supports up to 1,024 associated devices. Therefore, it can handle busy locations where hundreds of phones, tablets, laptops and smart devices require network access.

It also includes 6kV lightning protection on the Ethernet interface. Moreover, it operates in temperatures ranging from -30°C to 70°C. Consequently, it can support installations in both hot and cold environments.

Simple PoE+ Installation

The access point includes one Gigabit Ethernet port with 802.3at PoE+ support. One Ethernet cable can carry both electrical power and network data.

Therefore, installers do not need a separate power socket beside the access point. This simplifies installation on poles, walls, fences and other outdoor structures.

A compatible PoE+ switch or PoE+ injector is required. The official package contents do not list a PoE adapter.

Omada Central Management

The EAP625 Outdoor HD works with the TP-Link Omada Software Controller, hardware controllers and cloud-based management platforms. Administrators can manage access points, users, guest networks and security settings from one interface.

Furthermore, Omada Mesh helps extend wireless coverage in difficult-to-wire locations. Seamless roaming also allows supported devices to move between access points with fewer connection interruptions. The access point supports WPA, WPA2 and WPA3 security options. It also offers guest networks, captive portal authentication, VLAN support, MAC filtering and 802.1X authentication.
