Dual 4MP TandemVu Camera Technology

The Hikvision DS-2SE3C404MWG-E/14 combines two independent surveillance channels within one camera housing. The fixed bullet channel captures a wide-angle overview, while the PTZ channel provides movable surveillance with optical zoom. Both channels deliver a maximum resolution of 2560 × 1440, providing high-quality 4MP imaging for general monitoring and detailed observation.

4× Optical Zoom for Detailed Monitoring

The PTZ channel features a motorized 2.8–12mm varifocal lens, offering 4× optical zoom and 16× digital zoom. Optical zoom allows users to examine distant objects more closely without the same loss of detail associated with digital enlargement. This is particularly useful for monitoring entrances, parking areas, loading bays and outdoor compounds.

Wide Angle Fixed Bullet Camera

The fixed bullet channel uses a 2.8mm lens with a 114.9° horizontal field of view. This provides a consistent overview while the PTZ camera moves or zooms to inspect particular locations. Unlike a conventional single-channel PTZ camera, the TandemVu design helps maintain situational awareness during PTZ operation.

PoE+ Network Connectivity

The camera supports IEEE 802.3at PoE+ and 12V DC power. PoE+ enables both data transmission and electrical power through one compatible Ethernet cable, simplifying installation.

Outdoor Weather Protection

The IP66-rated housing protects the camera against dust and powerful water jets, making it suitable for outdoor security installations.
