Hikvision DS-2CD1743G2-LIZU 4MP Varifocal Dome Camera

The Hikvision DS-2CD1743G2-LIZU 4MP Varifocal Dome Network Camera combines detailed imaging, intelligent motion detection and flexible night time illumination to improve security monitoring. Unlike conventional fixed-lens cameras, its motorized varifocal lens allows users to adjust the viewing angle electronically, making it easier to achieve the desired coverage after installation.

4MP High Resolution Imaging

The camera captures video at 2560 × 1440 resolution, delivering detailed surveillance footage. Its 4MP resolution provides more image detail than standard 2MP cameras, helping users monitor entrances, corridors, parking areas and other important locations.

2.8–12mm Motorized Varifocal Lens

The camera features a 2.8–12mm motorized varifocal lens for flexible monitoring. At 2.8mm, the lens provides wider coverage for open areas. At 12mm, it provides a narrower view for monitoring gates, entrances and other specific locations. Users can adjust the lens through compatible camera management interfaces without physically changing the lens.

Smart Hybrid Light Technology

The camera combines infrared and white-light illumination to improve night time surveillance. It offers three illumination modes:

• Infrared Mode: Uses infrared illumination for discreet nighttime monitoring.

• White Light Mode: Uses visible illumination to capture colour images in low light environments.

• Smart Mode: Normally uses infrared and activates white light when a relevant target is detected, depending on configuration.

This allows users to balance discreet nighttime surveillance with the benefits of colour footage.

Motion Detection 2.0

The camera supports Motion Detection 2.0, which uses intelligent analysis to distinguish people and vehicles from other moving objects. This helps reduce unnecessary alerts caused by environmental movement, such as leaves, shadows and changes in lighting.

Built In Microphone

The integrated microphone enables audio recording alongside video footage. This provides additional information when reviewing security recordings, where audio capture is enabled and permitted.

Wide Dynamic Range

The camera uses Wide Dynamic Range technology to improve image visibility in scenes containing both bright and dark areas. This is especially useful for building entrances, reception areas and locations with strong backlighting.

H.265+ Video Compression

The camera supports H.265+ video compression, helping reduce recording storage requirements and network bandwidth consumption. This improves storage efficiency when the camera is connected to a compatible NVR.

IP67 Weather and IK08 Impact Protection

The camera features IP67 dust and water resistance and IK08 impact resistance, making it suitable for exposed installations and locations where additional physical protection is important.
