Hikvision DS-2DE2C400IWG-K/4G 4MP Pro Security PTZ Camera

The Hikvision DS-2DE2C400IWG-K/4G provides flexible security monitoring through high-definition imaging, cellular connectivity and intelligent motion detection. Unlike conventional IP cameras that depend on wired network connections, this model supports 4G mobile data transmission.  It can therefore be deployed at remote locations where broadband internet is unavailable.

4MP High Resolution Imaging

The camera captures video at 2560 × 1440 resolution, delivering clear surveillance footage for monitoring people, vehicles and activity around a property. Its 4MP resolution provides greater image detail than conventional 2MP cameras, making it useful for monitoring entrances, driveways and outdoor security areas.

4G LTE Remote Connectivity

The camera supports 4G LTE connectivity using a compatible Nano SIM card. With an active mobile data subscription, users can access live video, receive security notifications and review supported recordings remotely through Hik Connect. This makes the camera suitable for properties without fibre, Wi-Fi or wired broadband connectivity.

Motorized Pan and Tilt

The camera features motorized movement that allows users to adjust its viewing direction remotely. It supports 340° horizontal pan and 80° vertical tilt, helping users monitor different sections of a property without manually repositioning the camera. The camera uses a fixed focal-length lens, so its PT functionality does not provide optical zoom.

PIR and Radar Dual Detection

The camera combines passive infrared (PIR) and radar sensors to improve motion detection accuracy. These technologies work together to identify relevant movement and reduce unnecessary alerts. Its radar sensor also supports manual angle adjustment to accommodate different installation requirements.

Infrared Night Vision up to 30m

The camera provides infrared illumination up to 30 metres, supporting black-and-white nighttime monitoring. This helps maintain visibility in areas with limited or no ambient lighting.

Two Way Audio Communication

A built in microphone and speaker allow users to communicate remotely through compatible monitoring software. This is useful for speaking to visitors, responding to suspicious activity and issuing security warnings.

Audible Security Alarm

The camera supports audible warnings that can be activated by configured security events. These warnings help attract attention and discourage unauthorized activity around monitored premises.

Solar Powered Operation

When supplied as a complete solar powered kit, the camera can operate using a compatible solar panel and rechargeable battery. This reduces dependence on mains electricity and makes the system practical for remote outdoor installations. The solar panel and battery specifications depend on the selected kit configuration.

Local MicroSD Recording

The camera supports microSD storage of up to 512GB, allowing compatible recordings to be stored locally. Event based recording and power saving modes help manage battery consumption in solar powered installations.

IP66 Weather Protection

The IP66 rated housing provides protection against dust and powerful water jets, making the camera suitable for outdoor surveillance in varying weather conditions.
