The W528 uses an N52 magnetic ring to hold a compatible phone in place. The magnets also help line up the phone with the charging area. For the best results, use a compatible magnetic phone or a suitable magnetic case.

The W528 works with iPhones that support magnetic wireless charging and earbuds that support wireless charging. UGREEN recommends using an official MagSafe case or a compatible UGREEN magnetic case when charging an iPhone with a case fitted.
