4K HDMI at 60Hz

The HDMI output supports resolutions up to 3840 × 2160 at 60Hz, providing smoother motion than a typical 4K 30Hz USB-C hub. It is suitable for connecting compatible laptops to monitors, TVs and projectors for presentations, video playback, office applications, creative work and extended desktop setups. For HDMI output to work, the host device’s USB-C port must support video output, such as DisplayPort Alt Mode.

USB 3.2 Gen 2 – Up to 10Gbps

The CM512 features two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports and one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 data port. Each is specified for transfer speeds up to 10Gbps with compatible devices. This makes the hub suitable for external SSDs and HDDs, USB flash drives, card readers, cameras, keyboards, mice and other compatible peripherals.

For example, the higher bandwidth is particularly useful when transferring large files between a compatible laptop and high speed external SSD.

Gigabit Ethernet Connection

The integrated RJ45 Ethernet port supports 10/100/1000Mbps, giving laptops without built-in Ethernet access to a stable wired network connection. This is particularly useful for offices, video conferencing, large downloads, network applications and locations where Wi-Fi performance is inconsistent.

100W USB-C Power Delivery

The dedicated USB-C PD port accepts up to 100W Power Delivery input. However, UGREEN specifies that up to approximately 85W can be passed through to the connected laptop, with up to 15W reserved for operation of the hub and connected interfaces. Actual charging performance depends on the charger, USB-C cable, laptop and connected peripherals.

Separate USB-C Data and PD Ports

An important feature of this model is that it provides two different USB-C female interfaces: USB-C 3.2: for high speed data transfer up to 10Gbps, USB-C PD: for Power Delivery charging.
