Hikvision DS-7232HGHI-M2 32 channel digital video recorder

32 Channel CCTV Surveillance

The Hikvision DS-7232HGHI-M2 supports up to 32 analogue CCTV cameras through its BNC video inputs. This makes it suitable for monitoring entrances, corridors, parking areas, warehouses, retail floors, offices, reception areas and building perimeters from one centralized recording system.

HD Video Recording

The DVR supports HD analogue video recording, including 720p and 1080p Lite encoding modes. 1080p Lite provides a reduced recording resolution compared with full 1920 × 1080 Full HD, helping balance surveillance image quality and storage requirements.

H.265 Pro+ Video Compression

Hikvision H.265 Pro+ compression helps reduce the amount of storage required for recorded video compared with older compression methods. This is particularly useful for 32 camera CCTV installations where multiple channels may record continuously.

Multi Format CCTV Camera Compatibility

The DVR supports compatible HDTVI, AHD, HDCVI and CVBS analogue cameras. This allows businesses to expand or upgrade existing CCTV systems while retaining compatible cameras and coaxial cabling.

HDMI and VGA Display Outputs

The recorder provides HDMI and VGA interfaces for connecting compatible monitors. Security operators can view live camera footage, review recordings and manage the surveillance system locally.

Hik Connect Remote Monitoring

With a properly configured internet connection, authorized users can access supported live camera feeds and recorded footage remotely through Hik Connect.

Dual SATA Hard Drive Storage

The recorder provides two internal SATA interfaces for installing compatible surveillance grade hard drives. Using two drives allows businesses to increase recording capacity for larger CCTV installations. Actual retention periods depend on the number of active cameras, recording schedules, encoding settings and installed storage.

Motion Detection 2.0 with Human and Vehicle Classification

The DS-7232HGHI-M2 includes deep learning based Motion Detection 2.0 on all 32 analogue channels. It can classify human and vehicle movement to help reduce irrelevant motion alerts and improve event searches.
