Hikvision DS-2CFSP4/4G(4mm) 4MP 24/7 Solar 4G PTZ Camera

4MP High Resolution Video Surveillance

The Hikvision DS-2CFSP4/4G features a 1/3-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor that captures video at up to 2560 × 1440 resolution.

Its 4MP imaging provides greater detail than standard 1080p cameras, making it suitable for monitoring property entrances, farmyards, storage areas and business premises.

24/7 Recording with AOV Technology

One of the camera’s key advantages is its support for Always-on Video (AOV) recording. Unlike conventional solar cameras that primarily record when motion is detected, this model supports continuous video capture using an energy-efficient recording system.

AOV technology is designed to reduce power consumption while maintaining ongoing surveillance. Actual recording performance and battery endurance depend on sunlight, configuration, activity and environmental conditions.

8W Solar Panel and 9000mAh Battery

The camera is supplied as a solar-powered surveillance solution featuring an 8W solar panel and a 9000mAh lithium battery. This enables installation in locations without a conventional mains power supply. The solar panel charges the battery during suitable daylight conditions, while the battery powers the camera when solar generation is unavailable.

4G LTE Connectivity

The camera supports 4G mobile network connectivity, allowing remote monitoring without fibre, Ethernet or fixed Wi-Fi internet. Users can insert a compatible Nano SIM card with an active data subscription and access the camera remotely through Hik-Connect.

4mm Fixed Lens with Motorized Pan and Tilt

The camera features a 4mm fixed lens with a 79.6° horizontal field of view. Its motorized movement provides up to 340° horizontal pan and 80° vertical tilt, allowing users to adjust the viewing direction remotely. The camera does not have optical zoom, despite sometimes being advertised as a PTZ camera.

Smart Hybrid Light Night Vision

The DS-2CFSP4/4G incorporates Hikvision Smart Hybrid Light technology, combining infrared illumination and white light. Both illumination types support a range of up to 30 metres, helping users monitor outdoor environments during darkness.

Human and Vehicle Detection

Motion Detection 2.0 allows the camera to distinguish between people and vehicles for supported motion events. This improves the relevance of security notifications compared with basic motion detection.

Smart Person Tracking

The camera supports intelligent person tracking, enabling motorized pan-and-tilt movement to follow detected people within its supported movement range. This is useful for monitoring farm entrances, business compounds and outdoor pathways.

Two Way Audio

A built-in microphone and speaker enable users to listen and communicate remotely through Hik-Connect. The camera also supports audible warning functions for configured security events.

Outdoor Weather Protection

The IP66 rated housing provides protection against dust and powerful water jets, making the camera suitable for outdoor installations.
