Hikvision DS-2CD6924G0-IHS 180° Stitched 8MP PanoVu Camera

The Hikvision DS-2CD6924G0-IHS (2.8mm) combines multiple camera sensors into a single panoramic surveillance system, helping security teams monitor wide areas without installing several separate conventional cameras.

As part of Hikvision’s PanoVu series, it uses image stitching technology to combine views from four sensors into a continuous panoramic image. This provides a broad view of the monitored area and reduces blind spots compared with a conventional fixed bullet camera.

8MP High Resolution Panoramic Imaging

The camera delivers approximately 8MP class panoramic imaging using four integrated image sensors. This enables users to monitor large areas while maintaining useful image detail across the panoramic scene. The camera is suitable for locations where broad situational awareness is more important than monitoring a single narrow viewing direction.

180° Panoramic Coverage

The camera provides a 180° horizontal panoramic field of view, making it suitable for monitoring wide building frontages, parking facilities, warehouses and open commercial areas. Its panoramic design allows operators to observe activity across a large area from a single installation point.

Four Sensor Image Stitching Technology

Unlike conventional single sensor cameras, the Hikvision DS-2CD6924G0-IHS uses four sensors to capture different sections of the monitored scene. The camera combines these images through stitching technology to produce a continuous panoramic view. This reduces the need to switch between multiple separate camera feeds when monitoring a wide area.

2.8mm Fixed Lenses

The camera features four fixed 2.8mm lenses designed to work together as part of its panoramic imaging system. These lenses provide wide-angle coverage and are suited to monitoring large spaces rather than narrow, long-distance targets.

Infrared Night Vision

The camera incorporates infrared illumination to support surveillance in low light and nighttime conditions. Its infrared system enables black and white monitoring in darkness without relying on visible white light illumination.

Wide Dynamic Range

Wide Dynamic Range technology helps balance bright and dark areas within the same scene. This is useful for outdoor entrances, parking areas and industrial sites exposed to strong sunlight and shadows.

H.265+ Video Compression

The camera supports efficient video compression to help reduce bandwidth consumption and recording storage requirements. This is particularly important for panoramic cameras because their wide area, high resolution video streams can generate substantial amounts of recording data.

Professional Outdoor Security Design

The camera is designed for demanding security installations where broad surveillance coverage is required. Its integrated multi sensor design makes it suitable for commercial and industrial environments where a conventional fixed lens camera may provide insufficient coverage.
