The UGREEN CM568 HDMI Switch 5-In 1-Out is designed for home entertainment systems, gaming setups, offices, meeting rooms, and multimedia installations where several HDMI devices need to share a single display.

With five HDMI input ports and one HDMI output, you can keep multiple devices connected simultaneously and select whichever source you want to display. 18Gbps HDMI 2.0 Bandwidth

With support for HDMI 2.0 and bandwidth of up to 18Gbps, the CM568 provides the data capacity required for 4K 60Hz video transmission.

It is also backward compatible with HDMI 1.4 equipment, allowing it to work with many existing HDMI devices.

HDR Support

The switch supports HDR pass-through, allowing compatible source and display equipment to retain High Dynamic Range video.

HDR provides compatible displays with a broader range of brightness and contrast, helping reproduce greater detail in both bright and dark areas of an image.

Convenient IR Remote Control

One of the major advantages of the CM568 is the included infrared remote control.

Instead of physically walking to the switch every time you want to change devices, you can select the required HDMI source using the remote. UGREEN lists the remote-control distance at approximately 30ft/10m.

Manual Source Selection

In addition to the remote control, the CM568 provides physical switching controls on the device itself.

Therefore, you can still change HDMI sources directly from the switch if the remote is unavailable.

No Automatic Switching

An important point for customers is that the CM568 does not support automatic source switching. Input selection is performed using the physical controls or IR remote.

The CM568 carries digital video and audio through the same HDMI connection. Supported audio specifications include DTS, DSD, Dolby AC-3, and 5.1/7.1-channel audio, with sampling rates up to 192kHz/24-bit.

HDCP 2.2 Support

Support for HDCP 2.2 helps maintain compatibility with protected digital content from compatible streaming devices, media players, game consoles, and 4K entertainment equipment.

3D Video and CEC Support

The CM568 also supports 3D video and CEC pass-through on compatible equipment.

CEC allows supported HDMI devices to exchange certain control commands, although actual CEC functionality depends on the equipment connected throughout the system.

USB-C Powered for Stable Performance

The switch includes a USB-C 5V/1A power input. A 1-metre USB-A to USB-C power cable is included, but the wall power adapter is not included.

UGREEN recommends keeping the unit appropriately powered for reliable operation, especially when using high-bandwidth HDMI signals.

HDMI Cable Length Considerations

Cable quality and length become particularly important with 4K video.

UGREEN specifies approximately:

• 4K@60Hz: up to 3m using suitable 30AWG HDMI cable
• 4K@30Hz: up to 15m using suitable 26AWG HDMI cable
• 1080p@60Hz: up to 20m using suitable 24AWG HDMI cable

For a reliable 4K@60Hz setup, using good-quality short HDMI 2.0 cables is recommended.
