The TP-Link Tapo Indoor/Outdoor Dual Lens Pan/Tilt Security Camera – TL-Tapo C246D is designed to eliminate blind spots by combining two intelligent cameras into one compact unit. A fixed wide-angle camera continuously monitors the entire scene, while a motorized telephoto camera automatically pans and tilts to follow important activity.

Whether installed indoors or outdoors, the Tapo C246D delivers reliable surveillance with intelligent AI detection, synchronized tracking and crystal-clear 2K video. It is ideal for monitoring homes, driveways, entrances, warehouses, gardens, offices, retail shops and other commercial properties.

Dual 2K Cameras for Complete Coverage

Unlike traditional security cameras, the Tapo C246D combines two separate 2K cameras in one device.

The upper 125° wide-angle lens continuously monitors the entire scene, while the lower 6 mm telephoto pan/tilt lens focuses on important activity with greater detail. Both video streams can be viewed simultaneously within the Tapo app, giving you a complete picture without needing two separate cameras.

Synchronized Smart Tracking

When the fixed wide angle camera detects movement, the motorized telephoto camera automatically pans and tilts to follow the subject.

As a result, you receive both a complete overview and close-up tracking at the same time. One-Tap Smart Focus also lets you simply tap an area in the wide-angle view to immediately direct the pan/tilt camera to that location.

Crystal Clear 2K Video Quality

Both cameras capture video at 2K 3MP (2304 × 1296) resolution, providing significantly more detail than standard Full HD cameras.

Consequently, faces, vehicles, packages and other important objects remain clearer during live viewing and recorded playback.

Smart AI Detection

The camera includes advanced AI detection without requiring a subscription.

Therefore, the camera delivers clear images throughout the night while adapting to changing environments automatically. Color night vision is effective up to approximately 12 metres (40 feet).

With its IP65 weatherproof housing, the Tapo C246D can be installed indoors or outdoors.

It supports wall, ceiling, pole and desktop installation, allowing flexible deployment for homes, offices, gardens, warehouses, parking areas and retail premises.

The built-in microphone and speaker enable real-time communication through the Tapo app.

You can speak with visitors, communicate with family members or monitor employees remotely from virtually anywhere using your smartphone.

The camera supports local recording using microSD cards up to 512GB (sold separately).

Alternatively, users can subscribe to Tapo Care cloud storage for encrypted cloud backups and additional smart features.
