Hikvision Protective Shield (DS-KAB671-S)

The Hikvision DS-KAB671-S Protective Shield is a strong and lightweight cover designed to protect Hikvision face recognition terminals from direct sunlight, rain, and dust. It helps keep the device safe while allowing users to access it with ease.

Made from tough plastic, this shield is built for daily use. In addition, its simple design makes it easy to fit around a supported terminal. It is a useful choice for offices, schools, hospitals, shops, and other business premises.

Strong and Lightweight Design

The Hikvision DS-KAB671-S is made from polycarbonate (PC), a tough type of plastic. This material helps protect the terminal from daily wear while keeping the cover light. Moreover, the shield weighs about 172 g. Its low weight makes it suitable for wall mounted access control devices.

Protection from Rain and Sunlight

The shield helps block direct rain and sunlight from reaching the face recognition terminal. As a result, it can reduce the risk of damage caused by direct exposure.

It also provides shade around the screen and camera. This may help users see the screen more clearly in bright light. However, the shield is not a fully waterproof case. Therefore, the terminal must still be installed in a suitable location.

The Hikvision DS-KAB671-S is designed for use with supported Hikvision DS-K1T671 series face recognition terminals. Its shape fits around the device while leaving enough space for normal use. In addition, it helps protect the terminal without blocking its main functions when fitted correctly.
