Hikvision DS-2DE4425IW-DE(S6) 4MP IR Dome PTZ Camera

4MP High Resolution Surveillance

The Hikvision DS-2DE4425IW-DE(S6) delivers 4MP video resolution, providing greater image detail than conventional 2MP Full HD PTZ cameras. This makes it suitable for monitoring large outdoor areas where security personnel need to observe movement and investigate incidents.

25× Optical Zoom

The camera features a motorized zoom lens with 25× optical magnification, allowing operators to examine distant objects without relying solely on digital enlargement. Unlike fixed-lens pan-and-tilt cameras, optical zoom changes the lens focal length to provide a closer view of the monitored subject.

360° Pan and Motorized Tilt

The speed dome supports continuous horizontal rotation and motorized vertical movement. Operators can remotely change the camera’s direction, configure preset positions and create automated patrol routes for routine surveillance.

Powered by DarkFighter Technology

Hikvision’s Powered by DarkFighter technology improves imaging performance in low light environments. This is particularly useful for monitoring poorly illuminated roads, industrial facilities, outdoor compounds and building entrances.

Infrared Night Vision

The camera includes infrared illumination for monitoring dark environments. Infrared night vision enables black and white surveillance without requiring visible white light illumination.

Wide Dynamic Range

Wide Dynamic Range technology helps balance bright and dark areas within the same scene. This improves visibility when monitoring building entrances, parking facilities and outdoor areas with strong lighting contrasts.

Intelligent Video Monitoring

The camera supports intelligent security event detection, helping operators identify potentially important activities. Available analytics depend on the model’s firmware and configuration.

H.265+ Video Compression

H.265+ compression helps reduce network bandwidth and recording storage requirements compared with conventional H.264 encoding. This is particularly beneficial for high-resolution PTZ surveillance systems recording to compatible Hikvision NVRs.

Outdoor Weather Protection

The camera is designed for outdoor surveillance and features a weather-resistant housing to protect against dust and water exposure.
